Creative Ways to Ask for a Date |
| THE WINNER IS... Submitted by: Susan Dahl Being a woman, it's particularly hard to ask someone out for a date (women don't have a lot of practice at this). But I do believe it's important to do that occasionally. In our local paper they ran a survey asking for singles to vote on who the area's most eligible bachelor was. I didn't send a vote to the paper, instead I waited until the winner had been announced then clipped the article and sent it out inside a card to a man that that I knew and wanted to ask out. I wrote that I thought "he" was the town's most eligible bachelor and asked if he would be interested in having lunch with me someday - my treat. I enclosed my phone number. A few days later I got a phone call and we arranged to get together. |
