| DUCT TAPE & LIGHT BULBS Submitted by: Carrie Righter My boyfriend lives in Canada and I live in the states. One day after we had been unable to visit each other for several weeks, I received a box that contained some rather unusual items. In the box, there was duct tape, light bulbs, incense, chocolates, and 2 CDs. The note I found inside to explain this made me both laugh and cry. It said..."Duct tape - so you can tape my mouth shut when I
interrupt you. Light bulbs - because you said you were scared of the
dark and I don't want you to ever fear anything. Incense - so you have
the smell of sweetness even when I can not be there. Chocolates -
because you're worth it. John Mayer It was all so silly and yet so incredibly thoughtful. I think it was one of the best gifts I have ever received. |
