Romantic Care Packages |
| ONE A DAY Submitted by: Joni My boyfriend just left for Florida a few days ago and I sent him off with a care package! He's gone for seven days and I sent him with at least one thing for everyday. Each package is wrapped up to keep him in anticipation and also contains a little letter explaining the gift or telling him how much I love and miss him. Thursday's gift was a card filled with confetti (lots of fun to open...and clean up) and a $5 gift certificate to McDonald's. He loves Micky D's orange juice, so I gave him enough to get 2 larges while on his trip. Friday was a collage of pictures of us so he wouldn't forget my smiling face. I sent Airheads (candy) and a 10-pack of juice boxes on Saturday just because he loves both. On Sunday his best friend and him went to the beach so I gave him a lovely shovel and beach bucket with Swedish Fish (more candy). We twist each others gum for each other which means "I love you" so for Monday I packed a little bag filled with 25 pieces of twisted gum along with a laminated sheet of '101 Reasons Why I Love You.' For Tuesday I packed a puzzle of the U.S. with a note on the back telling him how much I love him and how much I miss him. Finally, for Wednesday I made a little album with a picture of us on the front and love quotes on the inside. I also packed (these weren't wrapped though) my perfume so he could spray his pillow or just smell me whenever and some extra cough drops because he had a cold when he left. He has called me everyday and told me how much he loves his gifts, and although it was a lot of work, it was definitely worth it to see him happy! |
