The cutest, most meaningful thing regarding our romance that has ever come from our Christian faith came when my husband learned a Greek word during a sermon and then used it (and still does 10 years later!) to describe his feelings for me. The Greek word “segoula” (I may spell it wrong) means “special treasure” and after learning that, he occasionally will tell me I’m his “segoula”. It always brings a smile.
