| WHERE'S LULU Submitted by: Sheryl S. My husband and I used to play this hilarious game. He had a hideous strange plaster statue of an ape with a bonnet on. One day, he said to me in a humorous way, that he had a "gift" for me. He then presented me with this thing, all wrapped up in a bow. We laughed and laughed. The next week, I propped it up in the window of his office at work with a sign that read: "Surprise! A GIFT for you...It's your pal, LuLu!" From that point it was ON. We traded LuLu back and forth for months, with it getting funnier each time. I had photos taken of me with LuLu when I went on a vacation with my girlfriends and mailed the photos to him. He sent LuLu to meet me at a luncheon I had with my boss. I propped LuLu up in the front seat of his truck with his lunch...we wrapped LuLu for Christmas. It was a game of who could get rid of her faster and funnier each time. Strangely enough, this was really bonding somehow for us, and it was our own little thing that no one else could understand... it was a lot of fun. |
