I love roses so each time I gave birth to one of our children rather than bring me roses my husband planted a rose bush to commemorate the birth of that child in my garden.  Hot Pink for my eldest daughter, yellow for my son and light pink for my baby girl.  Each child now 13, 6 & 3 help to care and water for their very own rose bush.
