I love the smiley face icon, I have a few smiley piece collectibles. He has a magnificent coin collection.

For Christmas, a couple of years ago, he surprised me with an original smiley face pin signed by the original creator of the smiley face, Harvey R. Ball. This came along with a magazine article about Harvey R. Ball. I am working on framing this awesome memento.

To me, this was a heartfelt gesture of love and regard.
