My fiancé and I met on AOL almost 4 years ago.  We chatted using instant messenger and then after a week we met in person.  We have been together ever since.  One way that we have used the internet while we have been apart (and still in the same town as well) is to send each other cute emails, use Evite to arrange dates, and occasionally when we aren't in the same place, to chat using instant messenger.  It brings back the old days and is really fun!  It allows my fiancé to be cute in a different way! (And he puts his feelings into words since he's not big on writing letters!)
