Before my wife and I were married, and before I moved across the nation to court her, work with her Dad and live with her pastor, these are a few ways we kept the romance alive in our long distance relationship:

* Web Cam!!! (being able to see & hear each other instantly melts the Long Distance Blues!).

* Getting a copy of the same book & reading it to each other over the phone.  Or watching the same TV show together (if time zone permits)

* Snail Mail!  In the Electronic Age it means a lot and is more meaningful to receive a hand-written letter or card!  In autumn I would find awesome leaves and write notes and draw on the dried leaves with gel pens.

* Getting new creative ideas from "TheRomantic.com Tip of the Week ezine".
