LISADAY

Submitted by: Doyle Ferguson

Schedules around our house, like most houses, is hectic to say the least.  With 5 children I depend on my Daytimer to make sure I'm in the right place
at the right time so no one finds themselves walking home from school.

My Daytimer also contains "Lisaday".  It is the day between Wednesday and Friday commonly known as Thursday but in my Daytimer, all the Thursdays have been scratched out and replaced with Lisaday.  It is my reminder to myself that my lovely wife needs to be shown how much I love her and just how special she is to me.

Some Lisadays are approached with great planning and designed to "knock her socks off" and others are expressed with simple notes on mirrors or car doors.  Funny thing...some of the best Lisadays have been the ones with the simplest of loving expressions.  "Lisaday", it's my way to remember that my partner for life needs a little romancing from time to time... why not on Thursday.
