How to Be Romantic with Songs |
| MAGIC WORDS Submitted by: Bridget Skoog My husband and I had only been dating for about 3 months and we hadn't said THE MAGIC words yet, but I could sense it was on both of our minds! We had watched the movie Say Anything and both of us commented on how we liked the song In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel. One day, I wanted to tell him how much I loved him, but wanted to do this is some unique way, rather than just blurting it out at some awkward moment! I decided to give him a card with all the words to the song written out on the inside. Then I drew this arrow so he'd flip the card over to read the back. There, I had written, I love your eyes. I love you! He smiled so big, gave me a hug, and said "I love you too!" Then, we lived happily ever after! |
