A SPECIAL GLASS

If there is a special wine glass or set of glasses that you remember seeing at grandmas as a child or something the two of you purchased for a special reason, use them at the wedding ceremony or reception for the toast.

I have a very special wine glass that my husband brought to our marriage. This glass belonged to his grandmother, (died before we met) at the time this glass did not seem "special". This wine glass survived our 25 year marriage, our three children, my stepson, and four moves.

We are celebrating our anniversary next week, and our oldest daughter's graduation from college, the glass will be a part of our wedding vow renewal and the toast for our daughters graduation. Funny how something so simple, became a symbol of lifetime accomplishments.
