The worst romantic gift would have to be the one given to my mother by my father years ago. Dad never knew what to buy Mom, and always asked me or my brother to help pick something out. One year, he was so excited, because he said that he just bought the perfect gift himself. He wouldn't tell us what it was, but was very proud of himself.

When he brought the gift in to my Mom, it was wrapped in beautiful silver paper, and a fancy bow on top. Mom was really impressed, and quickly opened it. Inside the box were two stadium seats! Dad always watched games at home, and Mom had never been to any type of game with my Dad. We still don't know why he bought them. (Also, the chairs had very tiny seats, and my parents don't)
