Toilet Seats Are Not Romantic Gifts

I was leaving for a two week drive, and would be gone for my birthday. My boyfriend came over the night before I left and had an assortment of gifts
which were especially thoughtful; a box of various chocolate items (I'm a chocoholic), a picture frame with photos from a trip we had taken, a cordless phone, and.... a toilet seat.

He had apparently been looking at my "to do" list of household repairs on the refrigerator, and decided that was the one to get me. Nevertheless, after my initial shock, I realized it was really thoughtful - he was trying to make my life a little easier.
