Since I am a poor college student I discussed with my boyfriend that I wouldn't be able to buy him anything for Valentine's Day and that he didn't have to get me anything either.  Just spending that time together would be enough. 

Of course I couldn't just not give him a present.  What I came up with was writing a love letter, with a twist.  I wrote him a letter every night starting a week from Valentine's Day.  So on Valentine's Day I had a week of love letters with a cover reading: My Love For You Revealed.  All of the letters talked about how much I loved him and how much I care for him and all of the stuff that I am not usually able to express to him. 

He absolutely loved it. He said it was the best present he could have ever gotten.
