~~~ From the Editor ~~~
Today we depart Marrakech Morocco to the final city on my 40th
birthday celebration. We are there a few days and then we head home –
just in time for gardening season.
Have a unique week. — Michael
A few weeks ago I mentioned how Athena and I have been mystery
shoppers for several years, often dining at restaurants and getting
our $60 – $100 meal for free. Several emailed me questions about
the program. Perhaps others had the same questions.
1. It is definitely not a scam. 2. I would recommend it to anyone
who lives in or near a city of at least 30,000. Smaller towns wont
have many shop assignments. 3. You only have to sign up once.
There are no recurring fees or costs. 4. I do know of people who
*shop* full time and make $50,000 a year doing this in larger cities.
I just did it for free meals at upscale restaurants. I could do
a restaurant assignment every week if I wanted.
Hope that helps. More info at:
~~~ Contest ~~~
Thanks to all who entered last weeks contest.
The answer was: Marrakech, Morocco, also known as the
*Red City*.
From all the correct entries, I randomly chose: Brit Savage of
Pasadena, California.
*** This week’s contest:
This is the final part of the “travel” contest. We are flying
to this European city because it offers a non-stop flight to
Raleigh, North Carolina, our home. I believe it is the only
direct European/International flight offered from Raleigh.
We will spend a few days there and show our kids some of the sites
(we’ve been there multiple time before). Then just one flight home!
To enter the contest email your answer to me attipofweek@aol.com and
put “Europe” in the subject line. In the text of the email give
me your answer along with your name and city where you live. From
all the correct answers received one will be chosen at random to
win a trip the Prize Vault.
TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with over 100
books, board games, CDs, other fun stuff at

One of the main reasons Athena and I have a great relationship
is probably because we have lived debt-free for years with the
exception of mortgages on our investment properties. It is easier
to get rid of debt than you probably think. A great product I
recently reviewed is*How To Own Your Paycheck Again* by Leo
Quinn which is packed with excellent tips, tricks and information.
I have made special arrangements with Leo for him to give my
subscribers a $10 discount if they purchase by March 25.

IS THERE A CURIOUS SPOUSE IN THE HOUSE?
by Doug Dynes
http://www.TheRomantic.com
This is an idea for the spouse with a curiosity. My wife loves to
investigate gifts. She shakes them, smells them, anything to try
to figure out what is inside!
Well, this turns out to be an opportunity for the fun loving
person. Last Christmas, I included some extra items when wrapping
her gifts, but did take care not to damage or dirty the gift.
If you include some nuts and bolts inside a small container it
gives an excellent rattle sound. Adding a piece of wood or other
object when wrapping eliminates the boring box shape. If you’re
really brave, you might try a bottle partially filled with water —
imaging her surprise when the package sloshes!
