~~~ From the Editor ~~~
Last week I donated one of my newsletter sponsor spots to a
Christian non-profit.  I’ve decided that at least once each month
I’ll do it again.
I’ve been extremely blessed to have such a wonderful audience for
this newsletter for over 10 years. I want to share the good fortune.
From time to time I might ask for some recommendations of non-profits
that you think are doing remarkable things so I can spot-light them.
For now, I have quite a few lined up for the next few months. I
think what really makes someone romantic is a giving attitude!
Have a blessed week.  — Michael
Over the years many have been amazed that Athena and I have not
had one single fight (disagreements, yes but we have never tried
to physically or verbally hurt each other).
We’ve been married nearly 18 years now and people kept asking our
“secrets”.  Eventually I shared 50 of the things we do that keep
our marriage blissful.
~~~ Tip of the Week ~~~

THE SILENT LANGUAGE
by Michael Webb

http://www.TheRomantic.com

I often wish Athena and I knew sign language. That way I could
easily tell her how beautiful she is from across a crowded room.

Not knowing sign language does not keep me from communicating with
her when we are no longer in ear shot of each other. I’ve been known
to make all sorts of gestures from across the room with my hands,
eyes and lips. I guess you would call that flirting.

I know some people actually come up with certain hand signals to
say ‘I love you’ silently. I have heard of those that will do so by
touching their finger to the tip of their nose. Some will raise one
finger, followed by four and then three – signifying the number of
letters in that special phrase. Of course you can point to your eye,
then your heart and then your sweetheart to get the message across.

Once you have mastered the ‘I Love You’ you can move on to more
difficult phrases by tugging on your ear, tapping your chin, rubbing
your temple and other signals. If pitchers and coaches can do it,
why can’t lovers?
