One day last week instead of having lunch at the table, I put down a
blanket on the front lawn and we all had a picnic instead.  It took
maybe 5 extra minutes of effort but it made the meal ten times more
enjoyable.  This weeks tip is a great picnic idea.  Tis the season!

If you are searching for great Mothers Day ideas, I have a collection
of stories on my site at:

Have a fun week.  — Michael

Thanks to everyone who voted in last weeks contest for the best Garden

winner can claim her prize and from all who voted I picked out the
name of Kristina Feist.  Both can go to the prize vault and pick their
prizes.

This week’s contest is on *Creative Ways to Say I Love You*.  I have
written it on the snow and on the bathroom mirror with rubbing alcohol
(shows up when steamed).  What unique and creative ways have you seen
been used to say or spell those loving words?

Entries must be received by Monday from all the entries I will choose
one person as the winner who will win TWO prizes from the prize vault
since I have had so many new prizes recently added.

TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with books,
several board games including Romantic Sensations, An Enchanting
Evening and others, CDs, dance lessons and other fun stuff at

As You Like It
by Claire R Morris

I decided to throw a surprise picnic for the guy I was dating.
However, having done picnic before, I wanted to somehow make this one
different.  And so, I decided to use the wonderkind of romance
himself, Mr. William Shakespeare.  I grabbed one of his great works,
As You Like It (although any great romance or romantic comedy will
do).  I then told my significant other to meet me in this park at a
certain time.

I arrived early and set up all the picnic things.  The best part,
however, was that I dressed the part.  I came in a long white gown
from the era and was daintily reclined on the blanket when he arrived.
In the car, I also had an outfit for him to change into when he got
there.  We spent an afternoon dining on fine food and reading romantic
scenes from Shakespeare in “authentic” garb.  Quite romantic.
