~~~ From the Editor ~~~
I mentioned in my other newsletter that after much prayer, thought and
consideration, Athena and I have decided that now is the time to build
our “dream” home. I solicited tips, ideas and advice about having a
house built (I still would love to get advice) and many asked me to
keep them updated on the progress.
Have a remarkable week. — Michael
Robert Irwin recently sent me a copy of his book to preview which
helps men become more skilled in the bedroom. Most stuff I am sent on
this topic is garbage. Either it is vulgar and unhealthy or it is
very lightweight. Robert is a Christian but no one could call him a
prude for sure. He addresses the performance issues many men face and
delves deeply into ways that men can increase the satisfaction for
their wives as well as themselves. Highly recommended. Check it out
~~~ Contest ~~~

I know many of you are sad that the recent contest series I had been
running is over. I am kind of sad too but I promise I will do it
again before too long.

I have notified the winners of the weekly contests and the grand prize
winner is Bill. He didnt supply a last name on his entry but I
emailed him to let him know he won.

Now back to our regularly scheduled contests.

The theme for this weeks contest is “Romantic Building”. How has love
been expressed in building a home. Did you have a picnic in the house
before the roof went on? Did you write love notes on the rafters?
Did you include something really romantic in the house plans? Share
your creative and imaginative stories.

Send your story to tipofweek@aol.com and put “Romantic Building” in
the subject. Entries must be received by Monday to be eligible.

TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with books,
several board games including Romantic Sensations, An Enchanting
Evening and others, CDs, dance lessons and other fun stuff at

Practically every relationship expert advocated regular date nights
for married couples to keep the relationship close. Unfortunately,
not all couples have the extra funds to be able to go out to dinner.
You might try to do what Athena and I did for many years – become a
mystery shopper.

At least twice a month we went out to places like Lone Star Steak
House, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sullivan’s, Applebee’s and other
restaurants and got reimbursed for our entire meal (up to $150 in some
cases). All we had to do is to spend 20-30 minutes on the computer
writing up a brief report on our experience.

~~~ Tip of the Week ~~~
Kiss of the Week
by Michael Webb
http://theromantic.com/
There is a little game I play with my wife Athena. I call it the kiss
of the week. Each Sunday I designate a certain place to be the
“kissing spot” and it is there that I softly plant my lips when I want
to let her know I appreciate something she has done or to simply let
her know that I love her.
I once heard an elderly man describe the success of his 75-year
blissful marriage to his wife. He attributed it to the fact that he
told his wife daily that he loved her and kissed her at least twice
each day. I aim to follow his example and by having the kissing spot
of the week, it helps me to make certain I am not forgetting to give
my wife the daily kisses she deserves so much.
Some of the kissing spots have been: behind her left ear, between her
eyes, the soft spot in the middle of her cheek and on the nape of her
neck. It’s fun trying to decide where the next “spot” will be and my
wife looks forward to the new kiss at the beginning of the week. I do
not forego kissing her on the lips, but I do make a conscious effort
to kiss her often on the “kissing spot.” If your darling hasn’t been
getting the kisses he or she deserves or you are looking for a way to
be a more creative kisser, perhaps you too can implement the Kiss of
the Week into your romantic lifestyle.
