US).  Athena and I just spent 6 fabulous days with 14 of our closest
college friends and nine of their children (all 5 years and younger)

A TRADITIONAL PAPER FIRST

Our first anniversary was coming up and I wanted all my gifts to be
the traditional gift of 'paper'.

My wife is a big fan of two 'day time dramas.'  I searched the
Internet until I found a couple of fan club sites with contact
information to the networks.  I was able to send an email to the
networks explaining that my anniversary was coming up, my wife has
been a viewer since a young age and could I get a couple of
autographed pictures for my anniversary gift to her.

One of the shows sent three autographed pictures (one was even
personalized for my wife).  The other show sent a script autographed
by the cast.  When I gave her this gift during our anniversary dinner,
she couldn't believe it.  She went on and on about how she loved it,
and how much trouble I went through to get it for her.

The Internet is a gold mine of ideas if you will take a little time to
search for what is special to you or your loved one.
