Last week in one of my other e-zines I ran an ad that got some
feedback from a few subscribers. They went to the site and found some
material there that was a bit offensive to them.

I check out all my advertisers and there are quite a number who I have
turned down because they didn’t meet the standard of this publication.
However, I can’t check out 100% of everything so if there is ever a
problem with any of my advertisers, please let me know.

As a follow-up, I was able to bring this to the advertiser’s attention
and he is now going to make some corrections to his site. If you have
a problem with something, give me a holler. I might be able to do
something about it.

HOT DOGGING IT

For the baseball tickets I purchased for my husband, I made a special
enclosure. I cut out onions, tomatoes, pickles and even a stream of
mustard out of construction paper along with some artistic markings
with smelly markers. These were then attached to a long, LARGE
balloon blown to its capacity giving the appearance of a huge hot dog.

This most intriguing hot dog was then carefully place inside
industrial size brown plastic garbage bags which had been stuffed with
newspaper to give the appearance of a most scrumptious bun. It was
delivered to my husbands office door with a note that said, I love hot
dogs, ball park hot dogs . . . let’s go enjoy a few.

As he slid the hot dog across the carpeted floor into his office
there was a bang that many will never forget as the condiments lay on
the remains of a burst balloon within stuffed garbage bags, revealing
the ballpark tickets. Not quite what I planned but memories that we
still laugh about to this day.
