Thanks to everyone who sent in leads for facilities in North Carolina
(and South Carolina) where I could potentially organize a one week
Christian youth summer camp in 2003. I have some good possibilities
but am still considering other locations in case you want to recommend
something.
I love puzzles, mazes and mysteries to solve so I really enjoyed one
of the entries to last weeks contest from a reader in Slovenia. I
think all of you will enjoy it (and be able to put it into use) so I
made it the tip of the week.
Have a restful week! — Michael

I received a great response to last week’s contest on ROMANTIC with
BOOKS. Over 150 great ideas came in. Many overlapped and some, while
really creative, weren’t really practical for most people. So, I have
posted 34 really romantic, creative, yet practical things you can do
with books to be romantic. I chose Jeremy Weather’s entry *Book
Proposal* as the winner. Read them all here:

This week’s contest is on THE KITCHEN. How have you used the kitchen
in a fun, creative or unique way to add romance to your relationship?
Submit your real life story and I’ll choose the best to win a trip to
prize vault which is filled with board games, CDs, books, professional
dance lessons and more. http://theromantic.com/prizes.htm
To enter this week’s contest, send your entry via
e-mailto:tipofweek@aol.com
Submissions must be received by Monday to be eligible for the prize.

Find a Hidden Message
by Maja Bombek
http://theromantic.com/
My boyfriend lived in USA for a year during his studies, it was quite
a hard time having him so far, thanks God for e-mails and chats and
all these modern communication possibilities.
I was at the bookstore, looking for a book I needed, when I saw a
book, the title of which reminded me of my boyfriend. So I bought the
book, of course, but before wrapping and sending it across the ocean,
I took a pencil and I wrote “Find a hidden message!” on the first
page. Then I thought of a meaningful quote from a movie we had seen
together and both loved it very much. I also included a short loving
message. Then I circled separate letters or words throughout the book
that if put together in sequence, they made that movie quote, followed
by my loving message.
I sent it to him as a gift and as a very special reminder of the time
we’ve seen that powerful movie we had been so moved by. He was
touched deeply by the present, so the following visit was very very
special.
