My book, The RoMANtic’s Guide, is currently ranked number 5 on the Top
100 Dating Books list at Amazon.com for 2000. It is also one of the
top ten best-selling marriage titles for the year.

Thanks to all of you for making it so successful.

I just launched a new section on my website of RoMANtic Recipes. I
have a couple dozen of terrific recipes that you can try out on your

J. Williams of Sunnyvale, California won last week’s Internet

This week’s contest is on LONG DISTANCE ROMANCE. What is a way you
have kept the romance alive when you and your sweetheart are miles
apart?

One entry will be selected to win a copy of For Love or Nothing. It
is a charming new book of fables, tales and proverbs about love.

PUZZLE OF LOVE
by Buck Rogers

One of the things I do on occasion is make my wife a simple jigsaw
puzzle that communicates my love to her.

Here is how it works. I find a cardboard box and cut off one of the
sides. Then I draw a simple jigsaw pattern onto the box. I try to
make enough of a design for 15 to 20 pieces.

Before I cut up the pieces I write one quality that I appreciate about
her on each individual piece, i.e. ‘You’re a great cook’, ‘you’re
beautiful,’ etc.

Then I cut out all the pieces, put them in an envelope and mail her my
“puzzle of love.”

I have found out that my wife is touched not only by the words that
I’ve written but also the fact that I’ve taken the time to express it.
