Saved by a Star

When having a fight, emotions can get out of control and you can end
up feeling very far away from the one you love. Even if they’re
only a couple of feet away. My wife and I have a thing that we do
to bring us back together. We sing “Twinkle, twinkle little star”,
one word at a time.

Each of us taking turns singing a word. Whenever we have a fight
and we sit for a while in silence. One of us will sing the first
word as a signal to the other to continue with the next. Before the
song is over, we are always either holding hands, smiling at each
other or laughing. It always brings us back to who we are together.
