It seems to me that all the B&Bs and charming/romantic homes we have
visited have names. You know, Biltmore, Mount Vernon, Monticello,
Tannington Hall, Keswick Manor, Richmond Hill, etc. So, Athena and
I have decided to name the home we are building so it will be even
more romantic. Tune in next week to find out the name we picked.
Have a well-manored week. — Michael

Last night Athena and I went to Lone Star Steak House. For several
years we have been dining there about once a month because we get
paid to do so.
We have to order something to drink, soup or a salad, entrees and a
dessert to split. When we go home I go to a website and rate how
the meal and service was. And I get reimbursed up to $75 for the
meal. Feedback is so crucial to businesses that millions are spent
each year paying people like myself to go to the business and
secretly rate them.
The company that offers me this particular opportunity also have
about 10 other restaurants I could do the same for each month. If
you live near a town with chain stores then there are likely to be
openings for you to do. You can check it out here:

A Sweet, Sweet Day
by Kimberly A. Bennett
http://www.TheRomantic.com/
One Sweetest Day I decided to surprise my husband with all of the
sweetness that I could think of. First I had hot coffee ready in
the morning for him. I am a late riser and to get up as early as he
did was a challenge. But I remained sweet about it. I put lumps of
sugar on the tray and took it into him in bed. I also served him
some pastries as a sweet treat. I put sweet smelling flowers in a
vase for him to smell. I smiled at him sweetly. I gave him a sweet
kiss. I wrote a note and sent him sweet thoughts and put it in his
pocket as a special reminder. I sent him off to work happy and
full.
For lunch I planned a nice picnic and we enjoyed it on the beautiful
crisp October Day on the lawn where he worked. He was the envy of
his co-workers. I packed cheese, meats, fruit and something to
drink and took a little tablecloth and we ate and talked. and had a
Sweet Time.
Then after he came home from work I had more things planned. I had
candles light and the sweetly scented the house. I had a trail of
Hersheys kisses regular ones and almond ones leading to the
bathroom. Where I had his robe and slippers waiting. I used some
almond scented bath gel to put some sweet smells in the air and not
be too feminine. We ate dinner by candlelight and talked and
laughed. I gave him a Sweet card and he said that he felt like a
king!
