Important Relationship Advice
I was tired of seeing friends and family get married to people they
barely knew, even though they dated quite a while (and later got
divorced). So, I put together over 1000 questions that every couple
MUST ask each other at some point in their relationship (hopefully
before engagement).
Studies have shown that couples that know each other on this level
are 83% less likely to have the problems that lead to divorce. Here
are the questions: http://theromantic.com/questions.htm

~~~ Contest ~~~
From all the comments that I am receiving about the contest I am
running I can determine two things. It has been a good challenge
for almost everyone and that I will need to do these more often as
so many of you are having a tremendous amount of fun (and it is
helping many of your relationships as you work together to solve
problems).
About the Quest for Gold.
Over the five weeks you will have to solve various riddles and
quests. At the end of each week you will receive a clue. Use the
weekly clues (or as many as you could get) to solve the final
puzzle. To solve previous weeks puzzles, look at my back issues at
http://theromantic.com/romantic/main.htm
There will be weekly winners who will win a trip to the prize vault.
Those who solve the final puzzle will be in a drawing for a $100
Barnes and Noble gift certificate.
This is the fifth and final week. You will need to answer one final
question and then you will be told how to use your 4 clues to come
up with the final answer.
What is the name of the Jewish holiday that comes at the end of the
barley harvest and the beginning of the wheat harvest. I am looking
for the Hebrew name, not the English one.
Once you find the answer replace the _____ with the answer (all
lowercase). Don’t use spaces.
If the answer is correct, the web page will lead you to the next
step. If it is wrong, you will get an *OOPS* page.
Have fun!
TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with books,
several board games including Romantic Sensations, An Enchanting
Evening and others, CDs, dance lessons and other fun stuff at
50 Ways to Lure Your Lover
by Eddy Gilpin
http://www.TheRomantic.com/
I use a variety of ways for building up anticipation for a big event
like our anniversary. I put a countdown chart on the bathroom
mirror (with dry erase marker) and change it every day beginning
about a month or so before the event. (I use a different color with
days in the 30’s, 20’s 10’s, etc.) I leave Post-It notes (varying in
size and color) in various places as reminders of the momentous
occasion. I send e-mails to her describing how enjoyable the coming
event will be. After taking something that belongs to her, I make
“Ransom notes” (cutting out the letters from newspapers like they
use to do in the TV shows) telling her to follow “the kidnapper’s”
demands exactly. I leave notes sporadically in her car, in her
purse, and in other places where she will be sure to find them that
simply have the date and a heart or some such symbol written on
them. A couple of times I will leave a Hershey’s Hug and/or Kiss
with a note (in the shape of the little Hershey’s flag) attached.
Any of these (or all of them together) work well in building
anticipation for a coming event.
