ROMANCE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES

The most romantic gift I have received which cost under $10 was a box of chocolates. Doesn’t sound terribly romantic, but it was all in the delivery.

When my husband and I were courting he bought a box of chocolates the kind where each one is individually wrapped cost about $4-5 at the supermarket. He then proceeded to distribute them over a period of a week. Each day I would find a few chocolates – on the dash of the car, on my pillow, on my desk at work etc. As we were living in separate houses at the time this was a lovely way of saying I love you, and every time I found a chocolate I thought of him. I think it became a challenge for him to think of different, unexpected places to leave the chocolates.
