BUILDING A BOX

I picked up a plain white box a little bigger than a photo box and got some wooden letters that spelled out my mates name. I then glued the letters on the box and glued some clippings of hearts and pictures and love quotes and a few photos of the two of us together (focusing especially on some of those little photos you take in a mall booth – the really silly fun ones).

I made the box into a memory keepsake – on the outside and the inside. I filled it with all the little notes and cards and event tickets and the likes that we had shared in the first couple of years that we had been together. Now that we are married and have a beautiful son we still take out the colorful little box and add to it or just take a trip down memory lane.
