BRIMMING WITH BALLOONS

Balloons have to be at the top of the list when it comes to fun.  Their bright colors can cheer the gloomiest soul and lift any spirit right out of its sorrows.  Ask any child, and they will tell you the magic of balloons.

It was with this in mind that I planned a little project to cheer up my stress-filled boyfriend.  At the time, he was in a play that was meeting and rehearsing all the time.  He was at his limit.  So, one night while he was at a long rehearsal, I snuck over to the rehearsal.  Earlier that day, I had blown up hundreds of balloons.  I filled his entire car with them and then hid special mementos and pictures of us around the car for him to find as he sifted through the colorful montage.  Although I wasn’t there to see it myself, rumor has it that as soon as he saw the car, he let out a joyful whoop and his tired spirits were lifted.  The surprise was a lot of fun for me to do too.  I had quite the time getting all the balloons over there in the first place too!
