POP GOES THE PRESENT

kid and balloon gift ideasOne Valentine’s Day, I did all the gifts with balloons.

My significant other’s gift was a very nice watch and a tie, etc inserted into a nice balloon.  I decorated the house with a few of the balloons, writing love notes on all of them.

When he got home, I told him that dinner was in one of the balloons on the table.  Some of the balloons had breath mints/small candies, etc in them, after finding a few breath mints, he started cheating
by shaking the balloons. One balloon had the gift certificate to a nice restaurant for the two of us (that we just happened to have reservations at) within the next hour.  Since I had got him some things that he could wear that night (tie, watch, etc) for Valentine’s day, he didn’t have to worry about what to wear or where we were going.

After returning home, we had a very personal evening.  Some of the balloons he popped had items like free movie passes (for him a night out with the guys), which we both appreciated.  Others had Love Coupons (i.e I owe you a foot massage, etc), which seemed to make him appreciate more the small things I did for him every week.  It was a lot of fun and was easy to set up and clean up.
