A year and a half ago, my Great Grandmother passed away at 103 years old. All of her jewelry was left to me, her only great grand daughter. I knew that the other women in the family were a little hurt by this, but that is what she wanted. I knew at that time, that I couldn’t accept it all.
So what I did, was I had taken all of the pearls, earrings, bracelets and diamonds and carefully glued pieces of them on Silk Christmas Balls. I gave them to all of the family so they would each have a piece of Grandmas jewelry with them for the Holidays.
Everyone loved them, and it’s always nice to see them on our tree.
