BEACH CARVINGS

While my wife and I were engaged, I went on a business trip to San Diego. I had taken my camera in hopes of catching a beautiful sunset to bring back with me to Texas. As I waited for the sunset on the beach, I wrote “I Love You” in the sand, as well as a big heart with my wife’s and my name inside (like what you’d carve into a tree), and took a picture of each.

I took those pictures, along with the picture of the sunset, arranged them on a piece of foam board, and used shells as the corner mounts for the pictures. I presented it to my (then) fiance when I got back home, and she loved it!
