A couple of weeks ago a market research company called me and offered
to pay me $60 if I went to their office and listened to various songs
for one hour and rated each song. Unfortunately I was going to be out
of town. I get these type of offers at least once a month. If you
want to know how to get your name in the database for this sort of

39 Ways to Use Rose Petals
by Michael Webb
http://www.TheRomantic.com
Since Valentines Day is coming our way I thought I would repeat this
tip of mine from a previous year.
When one thinks of using flowers to be romantic they typically imagine
a bouquet of roses or other flowers. In my opinion, a more romantic
usage of flowers is with their petals. Here’s a list of 39 things you
can do with them:
* Tosse on the bed
* Float in the bath
* Make a trail
* Put on top of ceiling fans
* Decorate a dessert
* Give a rose petal massage
* Write notes on rose petals
* Cover yourself with petals, and nothing else
* Put on the sun visor
* Strewn them throughout the car
* Hide in the glove box
* Use as packing material for a gift
* Take flowers you received – dry and make into potpourri
* Make into a candle
* Create a bar of soap using petals
* Use in a salad (some flowers are edible)
* Wear in your hair – gee, smells terrific
* Bring some to restaurant and put on table
* Hot glue to a picture frame
* Sprinkle in a packed lunch
* Sew or hot glue onto lingerie
* Write out a message with petals
* Put inside an envelope with a card or letter
* Use to decorate a picture you drew
* Float in a bowl of water – with or without floating candles
* Put in a shadowbox with other items
* Place in a book your sweetheart is reading
* Sprinkle in the underwear drawer
* Tickle your mate with rose petals
* Freeze for future uses
* Surround your mate with petals while he or she is sleeping
* Secretly place in luggage for someone traveling alone
* Simmer in a crock pot with a little water for a beautiful smell
* Put in a glass of champagne
* Freeze in an ice block for champagne or centerpiece
* Make candied edible petals by rolling in wet sugar
* Dry and place in a decorative jar or vase
* Make a homemade card by gluing on petals
* Toss into a fire and enjoy the scent
* Put in pockets, purses, briefcases as a clue of something special coming up
* Put inside balloons – if you put inside clear balloons, slightly wet the
inside of the balloon and the petals will stick to the sides for a
dramatic effect — or keep dry if you want someone to pop the balloon
