Thanks to all who entered last weeks contest.

The answer was: April 2, 1998

So, yes you can enter again and again.

*** This week’s contest:

Martha Stewart’s office called me yesterday. They were interested
in having me on her show this week. Sadly I had to say no. I think
Martha is an incredibly intelligent, creative and savvy woman and
would have loved to have met her. Perhaps another time….

I actually *retired* from doing TV appearances several years
ago after appearing on over 500 radio and tv shows in just a few
years time. There was one show that pleaded with me to come out of
retirement to make an appearance. I respect this woman quite a bit
too so that was the last show I ever did.  Which one was it?

To enter the contest email your answer to me attipofweek@aol.com and
put “tv show” in the subject line.  In the text of the email give
me your answer along with your name and city where you live. From
all the correct answers received one will be chosen at random to
win a trip the Prize Vault.

~~~ Tip of the Week ~~~
CREATING A NATIONAL HOLIDAY – JUST FOR FUN
by Allan Tobey
<http://www.TheRomantic.com>
When my wife and I were dating I “created” a National Holiday. I
told her a few days before our Saturday night date we were going
to celebrate National Lumberjack Day. It was fitting since we
lived in upper Michigan and it was the middle of winter. In order
to properly celebrate this festive occasion I asked her to dress
like a lumberjack, flannel shirt, suspenders, and work boots if she
could. At the time she was attending a university and on the night
of the date I arrived at her dorm room in my best flannel, jeans,
and work boots, carrying 2 double-bladed axes. One for each of us.
She was decked out in a red and black flannel shirt, black jeans,
and winter boots. For dinner (we left the axes in the car) we went
to The International House of Pancakes, because lumberjacks always
eat flapjacks. While at dinner I told her on National Lumberjack’s
Day all beautiful women receive a gift because lumberjacks never
see women when they are in the woods. I handed her a gift wrapped
package. When she opened it she found an insulated undershirt.
She was very impressed with my creativity and the evening has become
a very special memory we share.
