~~~ From the Editor ~~~
This past week we had some family in town so we decided to take them
to some gardens since the weather was so wonderful. There are no less
than seven gardens to view within an hours drive of where we live in
Raleigh, NC. Chances are, you have a few gardens near you. A great
romantic destination!
Have a blossoming week. — Michael
~~~ It’s the Little Things ~~~
A stroll (or a picnic) at a nearby garden.

~~~ Contest ~~~
Well, last week’s contest was a bit tough on many of you from some of
the comments I received.
This week is a wee bit easier – I promise, but it still should be
challenging.
I am running a 6 week contest where you will need to solve puzzles and
collect clues each week. Each week you will receive one final clue
which you will use to solve the grand puzzle at the last week. You
don’t have to have all the clues to solve the final puzzle, although
it will be a bit difficult without some of them.
Each week, correct entries will be eligible for prizes and the those
who can solve the final puzzle will be entered to win the Big Prize.
We are now in week five. If you want to solve previous weeks
puzzles, you can find the back issues here:
Here is the first puzzle to solve to get you on your way.
From the Star Wars movies, what is Princess Leia’s last name?
Using the answer in all lowercase, plug it into this URL and it will
take you to the correct page on my website. If it is wrong, you will
get an OOPS. www.theromantic.com/____.htm
Everyone who enters the weekly contest will be eligible to win a trip
to the prize vault.
We must receive your entry by Monday to be eligible.
TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with books,
several board games including Romantic Sensations, An Enchanting
Evening and others, CDs, dance lessons and other fun stuff at
Write On, Wipe Off
by Michael Webb
http://theromantic.com/
For decades men and women have been writing messages on bathroom
mirrors. With the invention of dry erase markers bathroom mirror
communication can be taken to the next level.
A packet of dry erase markers can be purchased at any office supply
store and only cost a couple of dollars. They make great tools with
which to pen your sonnets and love notes on mirrors, car windows and
even some appliances.
With a variety of colors you can draw all sorts of pictures on the
glass or metal canvas. Decorate the mirror with hearts, smiley faces
or an impressionistic landscape. You could even play tic-tac-toe or
hangman.
Best of all, they clean up quickly with a swipe of tissue.
Another great invention is that of bathroom crayons. My son recently
received some as a gift and when he is not using them, they are
perfect for writing love notes on the shower wall for Athena to
discover.
