I received quite a few good entries to last weeks contest on ROMANCE
WITH CHOCOLATE.  I found it interesting that a number of them
mentioned using Hershey Kisses on the ground with a note *I kissed the
ground you walk on.* That is a tip I put in my newsletter (along with
putting roses in the shower – *and showered you with roses*) oh, about
7 years ago.  Glad to see others using it.

There were a few stories that were quite similar to each other so I

Poem of the Day

My girlfriend goes to school during the day and works in the evenings.
Every day that she works, I call into her computer voicemail system
(which records voice too), and read a poem onto her voicemail while
playing romantic music in the background.  Sometimes they are poems I
have written and sometimes poems that others have written (good
selection athttp://theromantic.com/poetryclassic/main.htm ).

On special days to us, I play a particular song that means a lot to
us.  I have just completed a 3 month poem campaign and will be
presenting her with every poem I did on audiotape along with a
homemade booklet of each poem printed onto a unique, colorful
letterhead from Kinkos (cost 20 cents per page).  She has loved this
and says she always has the poem to look forward to, especially when
she has had a bad day at college.
