~~~ From the Editor ~~~
I’m near Asheville, North Carolina where our camp is in session.
We have 120 campers and 60 staff members who volunteer a week
of their summer to give these youth the most amazing and loving
experience possible. Its hard, hard work and takes a lot of time
through the year to pull it off, but seeing the joy on these kids
faces makes it so worthwhile.
One of the easiest and funnest (is that really a word?) jobs I
have had was working in focus groups. I’ve done dozens over the
years earning thousands. I’ve given my opinion on hamburgers,
banks, movies, music, corporate logos and so many other things.
I’ve gotten paid up to 150.00 an hour just for them to ask me my
preferences. When companies spend millions to do ad campaigns or
launch new products they are willing to spend some decent money on
a *test audience* to try it out first.
I’ve done most of my focus group *work* in offices but they can
even do them online these days.
You can find out more about how it works and how much you can
potentially make.
~~~ Contest ~~~

Thanks to all who entered last weeks contest.

From all the entries, I randomly chose: Ginger Casey of Washington
D.C.

*** This week’s contest:
This is a repeat. I got so many good suggestions, I thought I would
run it one more week as I am sure there are more Disney stories,
tips and suggestions out there.

For Athena’s 40th birthday we are taking a family trip to Disneyworld
in Florida later this year. If you have been there, share a tip
or two or more on how to make the experience more romantic, fun,
relaxing, memorable or even cheaper. I’ll try to create a section
on the website where I can share the tips with everyone.

To enter the contest email me at tipofweek@aol.com and put “Disney”
in the subject line. In the text of the email give me your tips
along with your name and city where you live.
From all the entries received one will be chosen at random to win
a trip the Prize Vault.

TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with over 100
books, board games, CDs, other fun stuff at

~~~ Tip of the Week ~~~
HEARTWARMING NOT HEARTBURN
by Steve Casey
www.TheRomantic.com
Several months ago while I was ‘moonlighting’ a few nights a week
delivering Domino’s pizza, I was able to be a part of a romantic
moment for two young lovebirds.
We received a call for a special heart-shaped pizza to be delivered
to the caller’s fiancee. Hand-tossed worked perfectly. Dawn, our
manager, who made the special order, carefully shaped the dough into
a large heart. Then the heart was outlined and decorated with pieces
of pepperoni. It turned out to be quite a work of art.
I had the privileged of delivering the heartwarming creation. The
young lady was so pleased that I was asked to hold the box open while
handing it to the blushing bride-to-be as we posed for a snapshot.
