This Saturday my family will be taking my mom on a Celebrity Cruise to
Bermuda to celebrate her 60th birthday. Athena and I have found
cruising to be a great romantic getaway because you get fine dining,
nightly entertainment, movies, spas, swimming pools, a children’s
program and a host of other amenities all for one price (usually
quite reasonable if you shop around).

On top of that you might be able to visit some great places. We still
love the more adventurous travel (which are not entirely relaxing) but
it is nice to completely unwind on vacation from time to time.

CANDY BAR CARD

I once wrote a story for my husband using 3×5 cards and candy bars.
You write down one word on each card and place them in the form of a
sentence, using a candy bar instead of a word.

It went something like this:

Please don’t (snicker). You are worth ($100 Grand) and when we
(Hershey kiss) I hear a (Symphony). Your love is (Good and Plenty)
and I (Dove Promise) to be (Forever Yours).

You get the idea. It is fun to make up stories or letters to your
mate and see how many candy bars you can use. This works real well if
you have steps in your home where you can start at the top and place
the cards and candy bars on each level.
