HOW’S YOUR COMPLEXION?

I have known my friend Jennifer Hoyer since college. She’s always been
a sun goddess. The years of sunbathing really took a toll on her
skin. We moved away and the next time we saw Jen she looked younger,
and radically different. She told Athena that she got tired of
her skin problems and began researching like mad ways to undo the
damage she had done. Also, to clear up her adult acne.

I was really impressed with the results that I told her that she
should create a website and share the information with others. There
are a lot of scams out there but I’ve known Jen for over 20 years
and know her story and techniques are legitimate and I have seen
the proof firsthand.

Here is a link to her website:

A romantic tip from a reader and a loving wife that we had to share!!

Her husband is the type of guy that goes out and finds those
extremely unique gifts. Last week was their Anniversary and he really
out did himself. Beautifully wrapped was a framed certificate of
ownership for their Anniversary day and a link to MyDayRegistry.com
where her husband had uploaded pictures, video and music from
their wedding. She said, “It was the sweetest thing she had ever
seen”. “We think so too, Best gift of the Year!”

AMAZING GLAZE – HOW FUN IT IS
by Michael Webb
www.TheRomantic.com

About twenty-something years ago, when I was a young school boy,
I would spend a month each summer with my grandparents out in
the country. One of the highlights of each visit was going to the
ceramic shop and picking out my item to paint.

One year I painted a black and white bulldog “piggy” bank. Another
year I painted a coffee mug to give to my mom, but when my
grandfather sneezed I was startled and dropped it.

Do-it-yourself ceramic shops are once again in vogue and are
sprouting up all over the place. There are at least six within a
45 minute driving distance from our house.

A while back Athena and I had a date night at Amazing Glaze. We
purchased a teapot and a creamer. The staff sat us down, gave us
some brief instructions, showed us where the paints were and then
let us go wild with our brushes.

We painted the teapot and creamer for a couple of hours and when
we finished we left them there to be fired (that’s what creates
the shiny, porcelain-like finish). The date was only slightly more
expensive that going to the movies, but we could talk with each
other while we worked on our projects and we have a meaningful and
practical keepsake from our evening out.

Now we have to go back to paint a sugar bowl to finish our set.
