~~~ From the Editor ~~~
We have just returned home from a week visiting my dad and his
relatives in Louisiana. They live way out in the middle of nowhere
and when we arrived, the population shot up by 10% to over 40
residents! My 4 year old son had the time of his life riding
tractors, feeding chickens, fishing and doing all the other *country*
stuff. For him, it beat any exotic vacation we have ever been on.
Have a wonderful week. — Michael
~~~ Contest ~~~

Congratulations to Chris Buetow of South Holland, Illinois who won the
contest I had been running the past 6 weeks. He correctly guessed
where my family and I will be vacationing later this month.

As promised, I will share the six final clues with all of you so you
too can try to determine which country we will be going to (hint: it
is not Greece).

Here they are:
* islands
* tree
* beauty
* goddess
* divided
* Apollo

Once you have figured out the answer, send it to me in an email at
tipofweek@aol.com with the answer in the subject line. Must receive
by Monday to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

There was such a great enthusiasm for the contest I will have to do it
again shortly.

TheRomantic.com’s ever growing PRIZE VAULT is filled with books,
several board games including Romantic Sensations, An Enchanting
Evening and others, CDs, dance lessons and other fun stuff at

A few months ago I received an email from a mystery shopping company I
am signed up with. A very high end steak restaurant was wanting to
test market serving brunch. They wanted my wife and me to go, and
they would pay for our meal and give us $50. Unfortunately it didnt
fit into our schedule. If you want to receive offers like this on a
regular basis, go here:http://theromantic.com/mystery.htm

TOSS HER A BOUQUET
by Michael Webb
http://theromantic.com/

Flowers are romantic. Everyone knows that. However, not all flowers
are created equal.

A dozen roses are not as romantic as a hand-picked bouquet given “just
because.” Tulips are not as romantic as daisies if daisies are
actually her favorite flower. I believe the most romantic flowers of
all are the ones she included in her wedding bouquet.

If there is a special occasion or anniversary on the horizon, consider
presenting her with a bouquet of flowers just like the ones she
carried down the aisle. Just go sifting through your wedding album
for a photo of her bridal bouquet. Make a photocopy of the picture
and take it along with the original to a florist so they can recreate
the arrangement your bride held on your very special day.

Let the florist look at the original picture for clarity and then let
them keep the photocopy as they assemble the arrangement. Be sure to
safely return the original photograph back into the album.

Present the bouquet to your bride and watch the tears flow. There are
some florists that can freeze dry the bouquet so it will last for
years to come.

If you want to pull out all stops, you can also have the top layer of
your wedding cake recreated and find the music that played at the
ceremony.
