~~~ From the Editor ~~~
My family is recovering from the flu we have had the last couple
days. It was nice just being home together, snuggling on the sofas
together and sleeping off the illness.
Are you ready for New Year’s Eve/Day? Here are some great romantic
ideas on my site.
Back in November I mentioned how I have made up to $75 an hour being
part of focus groups. The most memorable one is where I was part of
a mock jury and we heard all the facts about a potential court case
and was paid $150 for two hours of work.
Some said the link to the website where you can find out about focus
groups in your city wasnt working so I am putting it here again —
http://theromantic.com/focusgroup.htm
Most of the focus group meetings can take place in the evenings so
those with full time jobs can even participate. If you are a man or
a minority you can make even more.
In recent years a lot of focus groups began taking place online so
you can live in the middle of nowhere and still do them.
~~~ Tip of the Week ~~~
FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
by Michael Webb
Founder, http://theromantic.com/
Humans can never be told often enough that they are loved and that
they are special. An inexpensive way of doing this is by sending a
card or note. An inexpensive and clever way of doing so is by
sending a coded card or note.
It is easy to come up with codes. You can use the standard 1=A,
2=B, 3=C, etc. or you can create a completely different code using
letters, numbers or symbols of your choosing. If the code is simple
enough, you will want them to try to solve it on their own.
For a complicated code, you might want to send the key to the code
or clues to help him or her break the code.
You could mail the coded message, fax it to their office (her
coworkers will be so envious) or place it in a book he or she is
reading.
You could even cut out letters from magazines and newspapers to
address the letter or fax so she wont recognize your handwriting.
