ONE DAY AT A TIME

submitted by: Suzy Erekson

My husband and I will have been married for twelve years this September. We also have four children.

Needless to say we don’t have all the time we want to spend together. The romance has kind of died out. I decided that this year we would be ready for our anniversary and feel connected.

We started a month before our Anniversary. We are having thirty days of romance and ending on our Anniversary. Each of us do something for each other every day. It brings us closer . We just do simple acts of love.

We’ve done e-mail messages in a foreign language, love notes with sidewalk chalk and even did an intimate dinner with us two at one table and the rest of the family at another. It’s just a matter of remembering each other and acting upon it. We have not hit our Anniversary yet but it has been fun so far. It has renewed our relationship!
