BEAR DROPPINGS

I planned a surprise getaway to the mountains for the weekend. All week long, I left sweet little notes for my husband: on his shaving tray, in his briefcase, on his pillow, etc. along with small objects that were clues as to where we were going. For example, a snow globe, a stuffed black bear, etc.

The clues were not so obvious that he could guess where we were going, but they certainly kept him trying! By the time Friday rolled around, I packed both our bags, and I drove, so he still wasn’t sure where we were headed. It was a lot of fun for both of us, as he tried to solve the mystery and I tried to think of clever clues. The trip was great, but the anticipation was even better!
