My sister asked her prom date out by sending a large envelope filled with balloons, one each of several colors: red, yellow, green, orange, purple, white, black. She added a note saying, “Will you go to prom with me? Send the blue balloon if the answer is no. Send the red balloon if the answer is yes.” (There wasn’t a blue balloon.)

The way he answered was just as creative: he decorated her locker at school with 20 red balloons! A resounding yes!
