Looking for a unique way to express my love to my spouse of thirteen years, I created a book of my own.  I used a song by Neil Diamond called “The Story of My Life” and on each page I wrote a line from the song and put a picture of myself or us together that went along with that line from the song and decorated each page accordingly.

When I gave it to him, I played the song and he followed along in the book I had made, turning the pages to the music. There were tears in his eyes as the song came to an end and I knew that I had achieved my goal.
