When our home was being built, we would play “treasure hunts” where we would leave clues on the blue prints / map. The significant other would follow the hints and maps to arrive at the secret place where we would have a great time or meal.

Some of the hints would be love notes or pictures of items and locations to spark our imaginations to spend a romantic time with the other.

Some places were in the incomplete house. We would be able to gaze up at the stars while lying next to each other. Other places included camping out in the front yard. When it was cold outside, we even spent quality moments sleeping in the car, as if it was on ‘lovers lane.’

We enjoyed making campfire meals that tasted as good as if not better than a meal in a restaurant.
