WHEN COPPER IS PURE GOLD

My wife and I just celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary thanks in part to you. In trying to make our bedroom more romantic I introduced candles. My wife took the idea a step further and planned a bath night with a dozen votive candles around the bathroom. It was great until the wax melted through the side of the candle over her head and poured hot wax on her head.

Never use votive candles without votive holders. I was looking for a way to make it safer than just having them out on bureau tops. I went to the store thinking of hurricane lamps and found beautiful copper lanterns. This was perfect for our copper anniversary. I hung them from the ceiling. Now whenever we want a little romance we just put in tea light candles.
