A BONE FOR SNICKERS

My girlfriend’s long time companion, passed away and she was devastated. She had that dog for 10 years and I could always appreciate the strong bond that the two had. I wanted to surprise her.

I took a recipe and made chocolate chip cookies, but shaped them as bones. I took a tin that was split and put the cookies for her on one side and milk bones in the other side. Then I made a big heart shaped box with a big lace bow and inside I crated a chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy. She thought it was the most awesome box of chocolate she ever received. It has been two years and she has created the same wonderful bond with Snickers as she had with her other dog.
