ALPHABET SOUPER GIFTS

Christmas FireplaceInstead of giving my hubby all the presents on Christmas Eve, I gave him a month (well, 26 days) of little tokens detailing my love for him, one for each letter of the alphabet.

Some were easy: I left a new, smaller belt (signifying the letter “B”) hanging in his shower because he had lost 40 pounds and was beginning to lose his pants as well! Some were more difficult, such as the letter “X,” but my sister (a dental hygienist) obtained an old x-ray for me and I attached a note “I love you for the wonderful person you are inside.”

My husband was in suspense as he never knew what was coming up (although he had fun guessing!) or where the item would be found. Sometimes I would place the token on the seat of his car, other times in his briefcase, on his pillow, in his can of salted peanuts, etc. It was just as much fun for me to do this as it was for him to receive it. And you don’t have to wait until Christmas to try it, either!
