coffee heartAs a special treat, sometimes I add a little Irish Cream (a very creamy liquor) to freshly brewed coffee and then I shake up a little semi-skimmed milk (my secret method: you know the last bit of milk left in the bottle? just give it a good shake for about 15 seconds and VIOLA! frothy milk with no mess) and then I gently hold a heart shaped cookie cutter over the top of the cup and sprinkle powdered hot cocoa or nutmeg over the top of the froth….it leaves a heart shaped outline even if it goes over the edges there is a distinct and very casually romantic look to the coffee..

Not only does it look gorgeous it tastes like heaven too!
